The Iranian Phytopathological Society (IPS) was founded in 1962 for the study, advancement and dissemination of knowledge of plant pathology and to enhance the intercommunication among plant pathologists in Iran. The society is a non-profit professional, scientific organization. It has 1247 members mainly in Iran. Our members present a broad range of scientific interests including researchers, teachers, students, administrators and industry and pest management personnel. The Iranian Phytopathological Society organizes regular scientific meetings i.e. Plant Protection Congress and edits Iranian Journal of Plant Pathology that publishes research papers on all aspects of plant pathology.
We provied information and communicate with our members via a newsletter, web site and annual meeting.
